Dying to get that lipstick shade of your favorite cosmetic brand but cannot get it? The Estee Lauder or Elizabeth Arden, Revlon or Maybelline you die for is not available anymore. You are absolutely in a hapless state. The unfortunate part is that you cannot rely upon and use any other brand, as your usual brand has become like your shadow. What do you do now? Well, despair not my dear ladies, take a look at what’s in store for you about discontinued makeup.
What is Discontinued Makeup?
Simply put, discontinued make up is a cosmetic product which has gone out of supply and the company has stopped its production.
How to Find Discontinued Makeup?
Okay, the members of fairer sex can act as if they have found a treasure trove after they read what is being described here.

The first thing and the most obvious thing to do is to get in touch with the company helpline or the manufacturer. When a product of a company is discontinued, they have a facility wherein they would be able to give you resources about where to find discontinued makeup. Where can i buy makeup comparable to the discontinued brand SUGAR?
I recently found out that the brand Sugar was discontinued. I know it was sold at Ulta. I lost a book of shadows and lip glosses I had from sugar and haven’t been able to find the same teal eye shadow color from any other brand. Are there any brands that are similar? Or anywhere to find sugar products?
Discontinued Max Factor Makeup?
I’ve heard that max factor is planning to stop sales in the United States. Does anyone know if people will still be able to order it online at like drugstore.com or amazon.com or from the max factor website?

About 2 years ago (im guessing) my fav loose powder was discontinued by clinique (gentle light… = amazinggg) so I called around to all the department stores within a 50 mile radius to find some left in my shade. Luckily one of them had 4 left.. So I stocked up. 2 yrs later im on my last one.. Does anyone know the shelf life of loose powders? I’ve looked online and a lot of sites say its about a yr or so.. But is that from the date its actually OPENED? Also, does anyone know if they started making it again?
No, im not asking where to find more… I know I could prob find some on ebay but I woudlnt want to buy it from some stranger.. Yukky.
Im just wondering if the one I have left would ‘go bad’ .. Since I bought it over 2 yrs ago… but it was sealed until a couple months ago.
