Discontinued Perfumes
It is usually quite an important process for a woman to find just the right scent of perfume that she will wear everyday whether it is to work or to the grocery store. But what happens when your favorite perfume becomes a discontinued perfume? Do you start the process all over again of looking for that perfect scent or are you going to buy up every bottle you can possible find so you will have enough to last you a lifetime?
Sometimes, there may be a way to find your discontinued perfumes without having to store twenty bottles in your cellar. Here are just a few of the ways to search for that favorite perfume that is not stocked on the shelves any longer.
*The Manufacturer: Some people never think of looking for their outdated perfume at the manufacturer itself. You can call the company, usually a customer service number will get you started, and talk with them to see if they have any stock that is on their shelves that you could take advantage of.
*Discount Perfume Stores: All over the world there still are some stores that are in business just for perfume. These are perfect places to look for discounted perfumes because what they will usually do is buy up stock of a older perfume from the manufacturer and then sell it in their store. Look in your local yellow pages to see if there are any stores in your area that you can call to see if your scent is on their shelves.
*Online: Thank goodness for the Internet because it has opened up all sorts of doors when it comes to looking for discontinued items such as perfume. There are even a few places to look on the Internet and one of the first places to start is to just to a search for the specific perfume in your favorite search browser. If that doesn’t work, the next step is to visit some of the online auction websites and see if anyone is selling any stock of your perfume in an online auction setting. You would be surprised what people are selling on those sites. If that still doesn’t provide any luck in your search, you and look at online perfume forums and ask the question to see if anyone has recently seen or bought your discontinued perfume scent.
Overall, there are a lot of options when looking for your favorite scent of perfume that is no longer being made. By trying one of the options above you may be in luck and not have to search for another scent.
